PUTRAJAYA, 26 September 2026 (The Capital Post) – The Ministry of Digital and the Sabah Federal Secretary’s Office are strengthening cooperation to advance digitalisation and improve the delivery of Federal Government services in Sabah.
Digital Ministry Secretary-General Datuk Fabian Bigar received a courtesy visit from Sabah Federal Secretary Datuk Mohd Razali bin Wahab on Friday.
The meeting provided a platform for both sides to exchange views, explore ideas and identify opportunities for closer cooperation in strengthening Sabah’s digital agenda and improving government service delivery.
The Sabah Federal Secretary’s Office plays a coordinating role between the Federal and Sabah governments, supporting the implementation of federal policies, services and initiatives in the state.

Both sides highlighted the importance of closer coordination as technology continues to evolve, particularly in ensuring digital transformation results in more efficient and responsive public services that meet the needs of communities in Sabah.
The cooperation is also expected to support a more inclusive and resilient digital ecosystem in the state while contributing to Malaysia’s AI Nation 2030 aspiration. The Ministry of Digital has identified AI Nation 2030 as part of the country’s broader national digital and artificial intelligence agenda.
