SHANGHAI, 26 September 2026 (The Capital Post) – Malaysia’s contingent continued its campaign at WorldSkills Shanghai 2026, with competitors maintaining their focus as they faced the challenges of the international skills competition.
Deputy Works Minister Datuk Seri Dr. Ahmad Maslan, who serves as Chef de Mission of the Malaysian contingent, was present to support the participants alongside Department of Skills Development (JPK) Director-General Ir. Ts. Dr. Kamaruzaman bin Hj. Md. Ali.
The Malaysian participants are competing on the global stage across a range of skills disciplines, representing the country in an event that brings together young skilled professionals from around the world.
The second day of competition saw participants continuing their respective tasks and preparations as they sought to deliver their best performances throughout the competition.

JPK said the experience forms part of the participants’ journey in demonstrating Malaysia’s technical and vocational skills capabilities at the international level.
