DAMANSARA, 27 September 2026 (The Capital Post) – The MADANI Kita 2026 programme in the Damansara parliamentary constituency brought government ministries, departments and agencies together with the local community to strengthen public access to government services and initiatives.
Digital Minister Gobind Singh Deo, who is also Damansara MP, officiated the programme at Dewan Komuniti Damansara Damai on Saturday.
Organised by Akademi Kenegaraan Malaysia (AKM) in collaboration with the Performance Acceleration Coordination Unit (PACU), the programme provided a platform for residents to interact directly with government representatives.
Members of the public were able to obtain information on available government services while also sharing views, suggestions and concerns relating to the needs of the local community.
The programme highlighted the government’s approach of strengthening public service delivery through direct community engagement, alongside the use of technology and digitalisation to make services more accessible and efficient.

It also forms part of efforts to promote a more inclusive Malaysia MADANI approach, with greater emphasis on ensuring policies, services and development initiatives deliver tangible benefits to communities.
Also present were Bukit Lanjan assemblyman Pua Pei Ling, Petaling Jaya Deputy Mayor Hajah Sharinaz Haji Samsudin, MADANI Monitoring Unit Director-General Mohd Khalid Mohamed Latiff and AKM Deputy Director-General (Management) Datin Saliza Mokhtar.
