PUTRAJAYA, 27 September 2026 (The Capital Post) – The Ministry of Education (KPM) took part in the BeST@WP Putrajaya programme in conjunction with Hari Cuci Malaysia 2026, reflecting its continued commitment to promoting cleanliness and a conducive school environment.
KPM Secretary-General Dato’ Wan Hashim bin Wan Rahim attended the programme at Sekolah Kebangsaan Putrajaya Presint 17(1), which was organised by the Ministry of Housing and Local Government (KPKT) in collaboration with Perbadanan Putrajaya and the Putrajaya Federal Territory Education Department.
Also present was Perbadanan Putrajaya president Dato’ Haji Mohd Sakeri bin Abdul Kadir.
Hari Cuci Malaysia 2026 was held simultaneously nationwide with a target of 200,000 participants, with the aim of setting a new Malaysia Book of Records mark for the largest participation in a gotong-royong and cleaning activity.

KPM said its involvement alongside school communities and local residents reflected ongoing efforts to cultivate cleanliness practices and create a school environment that is clean, safe and conducive for the wellbeing of the entire school community.
