PUTRAJAYA, 29 September 2026 (The Capital Post) – The government has launched the Public Sector Digitalisation Plan (RPSA) 2026–2030, setting out a five-year strategic direction to accelerate digital transformation across federal, state and local government agencies.
The plan was launched during the 2026 Public Sector Enterprise Architecture (EA) Symposium organised by the National Digital Department (JDN) under the Ministry of Digital at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC) on 28 September.
Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Dr. Shamsul Azri Abu Bakar officiated the event, which carried the theme “Sinergi Ekosistem, Memacu Impak Digital”.
The symposium brought together senior government leaders, Chief Digital Officers, information and communications technology managers, public sector officials, industry representatives and academics to strengthen cooperation in advancing the government’s digital transformation agenda.
RPSA 2026–2030 is guided by the vision “Rakyat Pintar Digital” and the theme “Paduan Dinamik Keseluruhan Kerajaan”, with a Whole-of-Government approach forming the basis for coordinating digital initiatives across the Federal Government, state governments and local authorities.

The plan is built around five strategic pillars covering the mainstreaming of GovTech, greater use of data and artificial intelligence, development of highly skilled digital talent, stronger digital governance, and sustainable digital infrastructure and trust.
The initiative is aimed at improving public service delivery by making government services simpler, faster, safer, more inclusive and more responsive to the needs of the public.
Also present were Home Ministry Deputy Secretary-General (Management) Ainah binti Mohd Soon, heads of departments and agencies, as well as other government representatives.
