Anwar announces new incentives for FELDA settlers

KUALA LUMPUR, 8  July 2026 (The Capital Post) – Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has announced new incentives for FELDA settlers in conjunction with the 70th anniversary of the Federal Land Development Authority (FELDA) and National Settlers’ Day celebrations.

Anwar said the support and close cooperation between FELDA settlers, its workforce and the MADANI Government had contributed to visible improvements in the organisation’s management, which is now more structured, transparent and focused on safeguarding the welfare of settlers and future generations.

He described settlers as a key pillar in the country’s development journey, adding that the new incentives were introduced as a gesture of appreciation for their contributions and sacrifices over the years.

Anwar said the government remains committed to continuing reforms and improvements for the FELDA community, guided by the principle of serving the people and delivering meaningful benefits.

He also expressed hope that FELDA would continue progressing, prospering and remain a source of national pride in the years ahead.

According to a post on the official Facebook page of Anwar Ibrahim, the Prime Minister conveyed his appreciation to the FELDA community while reaffirming the government’s commitment to supporting settlers and their heirs.- The Capital Post
