PUTRAJAYA, 8 September 2026 (The Capital Post) – Prime Minister YAB Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim has called for more effective, efficient and faster implementation across government services while stressing the need to prevent leakages and abuse.
He delivered the message during the September 2026 Monthly Assembly with ministry personnel, organised by the Ministry of Plantation and Commodities.
Personnel from the Ministry of Home Affairs (KDN) followed the assembly through a live-streaming session held at Dewan Gemilang, KDN, here on Tuesday.
In his address, the Prime Minister also emphasised the importance of listening to views and problems at the grassroots level.
He called on government personnel to engage with communities and the public as part of efforts to continuously improve the quality of service delivery.

Among those attending the KDN live-streaming session were KDN Secretary-General YBhg. Datuk Dr. Awang Alik bin Jeman; Deputy Secretary-General (Policy and Control) YBhg. Datuk Haji Makhzan bin Mahyuddin; and Deputy Secretary-General (Security) YBhg. Dato’ Hj Abdul Halim bin Hj Abdul Rahman.
The live-streaming session provided a platform for KDN personnel to follow the Prime Minister’s monthly assembly with personnel of the Ministry of Plantation and Commodities.
According to a post on the official Facebook page of the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Prime Minister stressed the importance of effective implementation, preventing leakages and abuse, and understanding issues faced at the grassroots level to improve public service delivery. – The Capital Post
