KUANTAN 6 April 2026 (The Capital Post) – An army corporal has pleaded not guilty in court to multiple charges related to the alleged assault of seven fellow military personnel at a camp in Pahang.
The 37-year-old accused is facing one charge of causing grievous hurt and six additional counts of causing injury to other victims during an incident reported to have taken place on March 30.
According to the charges, one of the victims sustained serious injuries, while six others suffered varying degrees of harm following the alleged attack within the military facility. Authorities believe the incident occurred during an altercation involving several personnel at the camp.

Investigations revealed that the case is being handled under provisions of the Penal Code related to voluntarily causing hurt and grievous injury. Law enforcement officials had earlier detained the suspect shortly after the incident to facilitate investigations.
