PUTRAJAYA, 10 October 2026 (The Capital Post) – The Ministry of Home Affairs (KDN) has been allocated RM22 billion under Budget 2027, reflecting the government’s focus on national security, public safety and maintaining peace and order across Malaysia.
The allocation was announced during the Budget 2027 presentation by Prime Minister and Finance Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim at the Dewan Rakyat on Friday (9 October).
The ministry described the funding as a reflection of the MADANI Government’s commitment to prioritising national security and public order while safeguarding the well-being of Malaysians.
During the budget presentation, KDN personnel gathered to follow the live broadcast and review the government’s announcements, development plans and key priorities outlined for 2027.
The annual budget presentation is a major event in Malaysia’s national planning process, outlining government spending priorities and policy directions for the coming year.
