Communications Ministry Holds Final DPN Engagement

PUTRAJAYA, 26 June 2026 (The Capital Post) – The Ministry of Communications held a stakeholder engagement session on the National Broadcasting Policy (DPN) with industry leaders as part of the final consultation process before the policy is finalised.

According to a post on the official Facebook page of Kementerian Komunikasi, the session was attended by the ministry’s Secretary-General Datuk Abdul Halim Hamzah at the Multipurpose Hall, Menara Komunikasi.

The engagement aimed to gather views and feedback from senior industry representatives to ensure the National Broadcasting Policy remains relevant, practical and responsive to the current realities and evolving needs of Malaysia’s broadcasting landscape.

In his address, Abdul Halim stressed the importance of close collaboration between the government and industry players in building a more sustainable, inclusive and competitive broadcasting ecosystem capable of adapting to technological advancements while serving national interests and the aspirations of the people.
