PUTRAJAYA, 20 August 2026 (The Capital Post) – The Ministry of Digital celebrated the National Month with the Langkah Warisan Merdeka programme, bringing together ministry staff for a three-kilometre brisk walk around Waterfront PJH, Putrajaya.
Held under the theme “Jejak Warisan, Sebarkan Semangat Merdeka”, the programme also featured a Kahoot session and Jalur Gemilang presentation.
Participants were encouraged to wear traditional attire under the theme “Busana Tradisi Jiwa Merdeka”, showcasing Malaysia’s cultural diversity through outfits including Baju Melayu, Baju Kurung, Batik, Kain Pelikat and traditional attire representing various communities.

The initiative not only encouraged greater appreciation of National Month but also strengthened camaraderie among ministry staff while promoting an active lifestyle.
