Education Minister’s daughter aces SPM exams

KAJANG: Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek (pic) was among the thousands of parents eagerly awaiting their child’s Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examination results on Thursday (June 8).

Her daughter Thurayya Fadhilah Mohd Fadzli, from Sekolah Menengah Agama (SMA) Majlis Agama Islam Wilayah Persekutuan (MAIWP), aced the exams with flying colours, scoring nine As and two B+s.

“This is one of the sweetest memories I’ve experienced this year.

“I want to tell all parents that our children have the potential to achieve success, provided we support them as much as possible,” the mother of six told a press conference at SMK Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah (Integrasi) this morning (June 8).

She also visited SMA and SMJK Yu Hua in conjunction with the 2022 SPM results announcement.

Education director-general Datuk Pkharuddin Ghazali, who was present, said the most significant occurrence this year was the improvement of the SPM results in urban and rural areas by 0.03 percent compared to the year 2021.

Those who do not have access to the Internet or digital devices, they can still see the summary of their results via SMS or they can contact their respective schools.

A total of 403,637 candidates sat for SPM 2022 at 3,355 exam centres nationwide.
