Education Ministry Strengthens Digital Partnership with Google Malaysia

PUTRAJAYA, 14 July 2026 (The Capital Post) – Director-General of Education Malaysia, Datuk Dr. Mohd Azam Ahmad, received a courtesy visit from Google Malaysia to discuss strengthening strategic collaboration in advancing the nation’s education digitalisation agenda.

The meeting focused on initiatives under Google for Education, potential collaboration with Google Cloud, and efforts to strengthen an inclusive, secure and high-impact digital education ecosystem.

The collaboration reflects the Ministry of Education’s (MOE) commitment to leveraging technology to improve the quality of education delivery and nurture a digitally literate generation in line with the aspirations of the Malaysia Education Blueprint 2026–2035.

Senior MOE officials, as well as representatives from Google Malaysia and Awantec, were also present during the meeting.
