GEORGE TOWN, 14 August 2026 (The Capital Post) – Lembaga Kemajuan Wilayah Pulau Pinang (PERDA) General Manager YBhg. Dato’ Haji Mohd Asri bin Baharum today received a courtesy visit from Lembaga Penduduk dan Pembangunan Keluarga Negara (LPPKN) Director-General YBhg. Dato’ Abdul Shukur bin Abdullah at PERDA Headquarters.
The meeting, held at the Mutiara Gemilang Meeting Room, was also attended by LPPKN Penang Director Dr. Azura binti Abdullah.
The session served as a strategic platform to strengthen cooperation between PERDA and LPPKN, particularly in developing programmes focused on family development, social well-being and the empowerment of rural communities in Penang.
Both parties also expressed their intention to explore high-impact collaboration opportunities that could directly benefit families and local communities.
