PUTRAJAYA, 25 May 2026 (The Capital Post) — The National Economic Action Council (MTEN) meeting today reviewed key presentations by the Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH) and the Ministry of Agriculture and Commodities regarding the ongoing global supply chain crisis affecting various sectors.
In a statement shared by Anwar Ibrahim, the MADANI Government acknowledged the concerns faced by the rakyat amid rising living costs and global economic uncertainty.
Following the discussions, the government agreed to continue the BUDI MADANI: BUDI Agri-Komoditi initiative to support small-scale farmers, entrepreneurs and vulnerable groups who play an important role in strengthening the nation’s economy.

The government also stressed that the country’s medicine supply remains stable despite current global pressures. MOH will continue monitoring supply chain and pricing challenges closely to ensure the public is protected from shortages or sudden cost increases.
According to the statement, the MADANI Government remains committed to addressing economic and supply chain challenges while ensuring the welfare and wellbeing of the rakyat remain a top national priority. – The Capital Post
