JOHOR BAHRU 3 July 2026, (The Capital Post) – The first day of the Semarak Kampus Programme saw Malaysia’s Higher Education Minister YB Dato’ Seri Diraja Dr. Zambry Abd Kadir engaging directly with students, academics and staff at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia during an event held at the university’s Vice-Chancellor’s Official Residence.
The programme commenced with the Ministry of Higher Education’s (KPT) Santai Session, providing an informal platform for members of the university community to interact with the minister in a relaxed and welcoming environment. The session encouraged open dialogue between the ministry and stakeholders within the higher education sector.
Activities continued with the “In-Person with Doc Zam” session and a Teh Tarik Session, where participants exchanged views, shared aspirations and discussed ideas aimed at enhancing Malaysia’s higher education agenda. The interactive engagements reflected the ministry’s commitment to fostering closer collaboration with universities while addressing issues and opportunities affecting the sector.
