Home Ministry Task Force Strengthens Inter-Agency Coordination

PUTRAJAYA, 14 July 2026 (The Capital Post) – The Ministry of Home Affairs (KDN) held an Intra and Inter-Agency Task Force discussion chaired by Deputy Secretary-General (Security) Dato’ Abdul Halim Abdul Rahman to strengthen coordination in integrated enforcement operations.

The session brought together representatives from the Department of Internal Security and Public Order (KDNKA), Special Branch, Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Anti-Money Laundering Act (AMLA) unit, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability (NRES), and the Department of Environment (DOE).

The discussion formed part of preparations for a presentation to the Chief Secretary to the Government, which is scheduled to take place at the end of July 2026.

The meeting focused on refining critical challenges affecting the effectiveness of integrated operations, assessing strategic issues requiring policy-level attention, and finalising strategic recommendations aligned with the functions, requirements and capacities of the respective ministries and agencies.

According to a post on the official Facebook page of Kementerian Dalam Negeri (KDN), the initiative aims to strengthen the implementation of the Whole-of-Government (WoG) approach in integrated enforcement operations through closer inter-agency collaboration. – The Capital Post.
