As part of efforts to expand digital access, a Smart Board TV was presented to SMK Balleh, while laptops were donated to 40 students from eight primary schools and QwenWork AI tools were provided to six secondary schools in the Kapit Division.

The initiative reflects ongoing efforts to bridge the digital access gap between urban and rural areas by ensuring young people in Kapit have greater exposure to and access to AI technology, in line with Malaysia’s aspiration towards becoming an AI Nation by 2030.

According to a post on the official Facebook page of the Ministry of Digital, the programme aims to strengthen digital capabilities and expand access to emerging technologies among communities in rural areas. – The Capital Post
