The monthly assembly, jointly organised with AADK, was officiated by Home Minister YB Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution bin Ismail.

The initiatives are aimed at strengthening AADK’s prevention, enforcement, treatment and rehabilitation functions, with technology playing a greater role in tackling drug abuse.

A total of 18 AADK drones will be used to enhance monitoring of drug abuse hotspots more comprehensively.

The technology is also expected to enable more accurate information to be gathered and channelled to operational teams to support enforcement efforts.
