SELANGOR, 20 September 2026 (The Capital Post) – About 2,000 job opportunities with salaries ranging from RM2,000 to RM12,000 were offered at the Festival Mega iLINDUNGu: KESUMA Bersama Rakyat in Selangor.
Human Resources Minister Dato’ Sri Ramanan Ramakrishnan officiated the festival on Saturday (19 September), which brought together employment opportunities, advisory services and access to government services under the Human Resources Ministry (KESUMA).
A total of 25 employers participated through MYFutureJobs, offering about 2,000 vacancies across various employment opportunities.
The festival also expanded social protection initiatives for gig workers, with platform providers contributing RM1.514 million to benefit 500 e-hailing drivers and p-hailing delivery riders.
Another RM48,000 was channelled through LINDUNG Kasih Suri Rumah, benefiting 400 recipients.

Other services included a dedicated Opt-In LINDUNG 24 Jam counter, contribution checks, advice on benefits and registration for Social Security Organisation (PERKESO) schemes.
Employers were also offered discounts of up to 80 per cent on late contribution payment interest.
The festival brought together 11 agencies and departments under KESUMA, including the Malaysian Indian Transformation Unit (MITRA), providing the public with direct access to information, advice and government services under one roof.
According to a post on the official Facebook page of the Human Resources Ministry, the initiative forms part of KESUMA Bersama Rakyat’s efforts to bring services and solutions directly to communities. – The Capital Post
