PUTRAJAYA, June 4, 2026 (The Capital Post) – According to information shared on the official Facebook page of the Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia., the ministry held a bilateral discussion with the Malaysian Medical Association (MMA) to address various issues related to healthcare services and the welfare of healthcare workers.
The session was chaired by Health Ministry Secretary-General Datuk Seri Hasnol Zam Zam Ahmad and served as a platform for constructive engagement between the ministry and the medical profession.
Representing MMA were President Datuk Dr. Thirunavukarasu Rajoo, President-Elect Dr. Sivanaesan Letchumanan, Honorary Secretary-General Dr. Vasu Pillai Letchumanan and SCHOMOS Chairman Dr. Timothy Cheng Tsin Jien.
The discussion focused on matters concerning healthcare service delivery, workforce welfare and efforts to strengthen Malaysia’s healthcare system.
