KUALA LUMPUR, 22 May 2026 (The Capital Post) — Malaysia’s Ministry of Works (KKR) held its 2026 Excellence Service Awards (APC) ceremony to recognise the dedication, commitment and outstanding performance of KKR personnel in delivering quality services to the rakyat and the nation.
A total of 905 KKR staff received the Excellence Service Award, while 12 retirees were also honoured for their years of service and contributions to the ministry.
According to KKR, the recognition symbolises appreciation for the recipients’ hard work, integrity and teamwork spirit that continue to strengthen the ministry’s excellence.
The ceremony was attended by Works Minister Alexander Nanta Linggi, Deputy Works Minister Ahmad Maslan, KKR Secretary-General Dato’ Seri Azman Ibrahim, Deputy Secretary-General (Management) Dato’ Zainal Alhakab Seman, Deputy Secretary-General (Policy and Development) Datuk Dr. Khairus Masnan Abdul Khalid, Public Works Department Director-General Dato’ Sri Ir. Roslan Ismail, Malaysian Highway Authority Director-General Ir. Mohd Hadzmir Yusoff and CIDB Acting Chief Executive Suhaimi Mansor.

The ministry also extended congratulations to all APC recipients and appreciation to the retirees honoured during the event, expressing hope that the recognition would inspire continued excellence in supporting the aspirations of Malaysia MADANI.
