KKR Strengthens Project Implementation Governance

ALOR GAJAH, 20 August 2026 (The Capital Post) – The Ministry of Works (KKR) continues to strengthen governance in project implementation through the Roundtable Discussion on Project Implementation Governance (Mitigation of Payments Under AP59) Series 2 of 2026 for the Peninsular Zone.

The discussion, held at the CREaTE Hall, was officiated by KKR Secretary-General, YBhg. Dato’ Seri Azman Ibrahim.

The session served as a platform for sharing views and strengthening governance to ensure project implementation and payment processes are carried out in a more systematic, efficient and transparent manner.

Also present were Director-General of Public Works Malaysia, YBhg. Dato’ Ir. Ibrahim Esa; Deputy Director-General of Public Works (Infrastructure), YBrs. Ir. Mohd Shahrom bin Ahmad Saman; Senior Director of CREaTE, YBrs. Ir. Sherliza Zaini Sooria; and KKR Finance Division Secretary, YBrs. Encik Muhammad Haizul Azreen Usop Ghafli.
