BANGI, Selangor, 10 August 2026 (The Capital Post) – Plantation and Commodities Minister Datuk Seri Dr. Noraini Ahmad attended the Ministry of Plantation and Commodities (KPK) Monthly Assembly for August 2026 at the Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) headquarters here today.
In her address, Noraini called on KPK staff, agencies and councils under the ministry to strengthen a solution-oriented work culture, respond swiftly to changes and consistently place the interests of the people and the country as their top priority.
She stressed that the performance of the plantation and commodities sector should not be measured solely by figures, but must translate into tangible benefits for smallholders, industry players and the public.
She said efforts to strengthen markets, improve productivity, drive innovation and technology, as well as expand field-based engagement, would remain among the ministry’s key priorities.

“If it is difficult for the people to come to us, then we must go to the people,” she said.
