SEPANG, 9 July 2026 (The Capital Post) – Human Resources Minister Datuk Seri Ramanan Ramakrishnan accompanied Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim in welcoming Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul upon his arrival in Malaysia for a two-day official visit.
The visit reflects the continued commitment of Malaysia and Thailand to strengthening their longstanding diplomatic relations while expanding strategic cooperation across areas that will benefit both countries and their people.
The Thai Prime Minister was accorded an official welcome ceremony, including an inspection of a guard of honour comprising 34 officers and personnel from the 1st Battalion Royal Ranger Regiment (1RRD), led by Major Muhammad Nur Addeen Mustaza.

The visit is expected to further enhance bilateral cooperation in areas such as economic development, investment and regional prosperity, in line with the aspirations of Malaysia MADANI.
