He was hitting back at Puad after the Umno Supreme Council member told MIC and MCA not to be too hasty in finding new “comrades”, alluding to Perikatan Nasional (PN).

“Who’s the one that’s hasty? Who’s the one that sent a letter to the King in support of Anwar? If he’s bold enough, before he calls us hasty, he should ask his president who was the one that sent a letter to the Agong supporting Anwar as prime minister.

“Ask him who decided (to support Anwar). Was it Barisan Nasional’s or Umno’s decision? If it was neither, then whose decision was it?” he told FMT.

Vigneswaran reiterated that MIC’s decision to support Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin’s administration for the time being was not made in a hurry and was also the same as the decision made by Umno, in staying with the PN-led government for now.-FMT
