SELANGOR, 1 September 2026 (The Capital Post) – Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) Secretary-General YBhg. Datuk Lokman Hakim bin Ali joined the Su-30MKM aircraft flypast team from No. 12 Squadron, Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF), at Subang Air Base in conjunction with the 2026 National Day celebrations.
The flight alongside the flypast team symbolised MINDEF’s leadership and commitment to strengthening the nation’s defence readiness, while demonstrating confidence in the capabilities, professionalism and preparedness of Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM) personnel in carrying out their responsibility to defend the country.
The participation also went beyond adding to the National Day celebrations, reinforcing the spirit of patriotism, courage and unity among MINDEF and ATM personnel in upholding the nation’s dignity and safeguarding its sovereignty as a shared responsibility.
