PUTRAJAYA, 14 May 2026 (The Capital Post) — Malaysia’s Ministry of National Unity (KPN) achieved a significant milestone after receiving the highest rating, Level 5: Excellent, in the Malay Language Audit conducted at the ministry for the first time since its establishment on 10 March 2020.
The outstanding rating was announced by Director-General of Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka (DBP), Dr. Hazami Jahari, during the Audit Closing Meeting chaired by Deputy Secretary-General (Management) of KPN, Datuk Mohamad Azhan Md. Amir.
The achievement reflects the ministry’s strong commitment towards preserving the sovereignty of the national language while strengthening the quality of Bahasa Melayu usage in all official ministry affairs.
Also present during the session were DBP Head of Promotion and Recognition Division, Roziah Md. Yunus, and DBP Head of Enforcement Division, Dr. Norhafizah Mohamed Husin.

The audit process was conducted by Munsyi Dewan (Language), Abdul Ghalib Yunus.
The Malay Language Audit was carried out to assess the standard of Bahasa Melayu usage in administrative matters, official communication and public service delivery in line with efforts to strengthen the national language within the public sector.
