KUALA LUMPUR, 9 October 2026 (The Capital Post) – Sultan of Perak Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah granted an audience to Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability Ministry (NRES) Secretary-General Datuk Wira Anis Rizana Mohd Zainudin at Istana Perak, Changkat Persekutuan, Kuala Lumpur, on Thursday (8 October).
The audience provided an opportunity for Anis Rizana to brief His Royal Highness on the ministry’s continued commitment to advancing sustainable development through effective natural resource governance and environmental sustainability.
The engagement highlighted NRES’ efforts to ensure that natural resources are managed responsibly while supporting environmental protection and the long-term well-being of Malaysians.
It also reflected the close relationship between the royal institution and the government in supporting initiatives aimed at conserving natural resources, protecting the environment and promoting national sustainability.
