PETALING JAYA, 4 July 2026 (The Capital Post) – VitaHealth Malaysia and Tropicana Corporation Berhad are bringing back their flagship mental wellness initiative, Offline 16, for a third consecutive year, reaffirming their commitment to promoting healthier lifestyles and encouraging meaningful human connections in an increasingly digital world.

The ESG-driven campaign will kick off with the Offline 16: Dance & Busking Festival on 12 July 2026 at Tropicana Golf & Country Resort, Petaling Jaya, inviting participants to unplug from their digital devices and reconnect through music, dance and community engagement.

Since its launch, Offline 16 has grown into a regional wellness movement, recording nine successful editions across Malaysia and Singapore, attracting more than 1,645 participants, accumulating 46 offline hours, and earning recognition in the Malaysia Book of Records. Organisers said the initiative’s success extends beyond participation numbers, focusing instead on improving mental well-being and fostering stronger social connections.

Chief Executive Officer of Vita Life Sciences (Malaysia & Singapore) and founder of Offline 16, Dr KS Beh, said the initiative reflects VitaHealth’s long-standing commitment to promoting holistic wellness beyond nutritional supplements.

He said the campaign was inspired by the need to encourage people to temporarily disconnect from technology and reconnect with themselves, their loved ones and their communities, adding that true wellness encompasses both physical and mental health.

Meanwhile, Programme Director of Tropicana Foundation and Senior General Manager of Group Corporate Communications and ESG at Tropicana Corporation Berhad, Serena Lim, said the partnership with VitaHealth has evolved into a meaningful initiative that aligns closely with the group’s environmental, social and governance (ESG) commitments.

She noted that while the programme has achieved milestones such as a Malaysia Book of Records recognition and nationwide participation, its greatest impact lies in encouraging healthier lifestyles and reducing dependence on digital devices.

The flagship event will feature a variety of activities, including dance workshops, live busking performances, Zumba, Piloxing sessions, recycling workshops, wellness and mental health zones, as well as interactive games designed to encourage participants to engage with one another in a device-free environment.

Participants will also receive goodie bags worth more than RM300, healthy meals, finisher badges, e-certificates, personal accident insurance coverage and the opportunity to win lucky draw prizes worth over RM15,000.

The event is supported by Watsons Malaysia as the main retail partner, alongside the Malaysian Mental Health Association (MMHA), Team Namja, Malaysian Buskers, Herbs of Gold, Tropicana Foundation, Tropicana Golf & Country Resort, D Swim Academy, Dododots and several other partners.

Organisers said Offline 16 continues to demonstrate that one of the simplest yet most meaningful acts of self-care is taking time to disconnect from screens and reconnect with people and the world around us, as awareness of mental wellness continues to grow across Malaysia. – The Capital Post.
