SUBANG JAYA, 5 July 2026 (The Capital Post) – Epson has expanded its industrial printing portfolio with the launch of the SureColor SC-F20030, a new 76-inch dye-sublimation printer designed to meet rising demand for high-speed, high-volume digital textile production across Southeast Asia.
The launch comes as the regional textile printing industry continues to shift towards digital production, driven by growing demand for short-run customisation, faster turnaround times and improved operational efficiency. According to Epson-IDC’s Digital Textile Printing Trends in Southeast Asia, digital dye-sublimation printing can enable revenue growth up to eight times faster than traditional screen printing, particularly in segments such as sportswear, homewear and footwear.
Building on the SC-F11030 model, the new SC-F20030 is designed for high-production environments where speed, scalability and consistent output quality are critical. It extends Epson’s 76-inch dye-sublimation lineup with enhanced throughput capabilities to support industrial-scale textile operations.
A key feature of the SC-F20030 is its advanced eight-printhead architecture, which uses eight PrecisionCore MicroTFP printheads arranged in a horizontal overlapping configuration. This doubles the capacity of its predecessor and improves dot placement accuracy across the print width, delivering production speeds of up to 306 m²/h at 600 x 600 dpi while maintaining consistent print quality.
The printer also utilises Epson UltraChrome DS Ink and a bulk ink supply system featuring 10-litre ink packs with hot swap functionality, allowing continuous printing even during ink replacement to minimise downtime in high-volume production environments.
To enhance operational stability, the SC-F20030 is equipped with a built-in double-sided drying system that improves ink curing and reduces wrinkling, alongside an integrated dust-reduction mechanism designed to maintain print quality and minimise nozzle clogging. Optional jumbo roll and reel units further support industrial users by enabling media loads of up to 300kg, reducing interruptions during long production runs.

The system also incorporates user self-repair features, allowing operators to replace key components such as the printhead and anti-drying cap with diagnostic support, reducing reliance on external service interventions and improving operational efficiency.
Epson Malaysia Managing Director Alvin Tan said the textile printing industry in Southeast Asia is evolving rapidly, with increasing emphasis on flexibility, responsiveness and production stability.
He said the SC-F20030 reflects Epson’s commitment to supporting manufacturers in managing higher production demands while improving efficiency and advancing more sustainable printing practices.
The SC-F20030 will be available in Malaysia from 1 July 2026, with specifications and configurations varying by market. – The Capital Post.
