PUTRAJAYA, 24 September 2026 (The Capital Post) – The Ministry of Energy Transition and Water Transformation (PETRA) hosted a foreign delegation under the 2026 Malaysian Technical Cooperation Programme (MTCP) to share Malaysia’s policy and development approaches in the energy transition and water sectors.
The visit, held at Menara PETRA on 23 September under the “A Familiarisation of Malaysia’s Policy and Development” programme, provided a platform for the exchange of experience and knowledge on Malaysia’s policies, development strategies and sectoral approaches.
The engagement also aimed to strengthen technical cooperation and relations between Malaysia and participating countries, particularly in areas related to energy transition and water management.

PETRA said the programme supports Malaysia’s continued efforts to share best practices and expertise in promoting sustainable development while strengthening international cooperation in the energy and water sectors.
