KUALA LUMPUR, 21 June 2026 (The Capital Post) – Saudia has been ranked the world’s most punctual airline for May 2026, achieving the milestone during one of the busiest travel periods globally marked by the Hajj pilgrimage season and Eid holidays.

According to data from aviation analytics firm Cirium, the Saudi Arabian flag carrier recorded an on-time arrival rate of 86.53 per cent across more than 200,000 flights during the month.

The achievement comes amid heightened focus on flight reliability and infrastructure capacity as airlines worldwide navigate increasing passenger demand during peak travel periods.

Saudia said it successfully managed significant surges in passenger volume during the Hajj and Eid season while maintaining operational efficiency through integrated digital systems and artificial intelligence-enabled decision-making across its network.

The airline noted that the performance reflects its continued investment in technology, operational resilience and service excellence as it expands its fleet and international footprint, including routes across Southeast Asia.
