PUTRAJAYA, 13 August 2026 (The Capital Post) – Home Minister YB Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution bin Ismail chaired two important discussions this morning concerning the direction of the Security Offences (Special Measures) Act 2012 (SOSMA) and refugee-related issues.
The discussions involved comprehensive consideration of both matters, taking into account current developments, challenges on the ground and the approaches required to ensure that measures implemented remain relevant and effective.
The discussions were also aimed at ensuring that the measures formulated not only address current needs but are practical, based on comprehensive considerations and aligned with prevailing circumstances.
