PETALING JAYA: The Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) 2023 examination will take place from Dec 5 to March 7 next year, says the Education Ministry.

SPM 2022 was conducted from Jan 30 to March 15 this year.
Science practical tests will be held from Dec 5 to 7, while the Bahasa Melayu (BM) oral test will be from Jan 8 to 11, the ministry said in a Facebook post Thursday (Aug 24).
This will be followed by the English Language oral test from Jan 17 to 23, and the BM and English Language listening tests both on Jan 29.
The written exams will be held from Jan 30 to March 7.
The ministry also said in coming up with the SPM 2023 exam timetable, it had taken the number of school days, as well as federal and state public holidays, into account.

The exam timetable can be downloaded from the Malaysian Examinations Syndicate’s portal at http://lp.moe.gov.my.
Meanwhile, the Examination Registration Statement can be downloaded from the Online Exams Management System at sppat.moe.gov.my for private candidates, and will be distributed to national school candidates by their respective schools.
