KUALA TERENGGANU, 8 May 2026 (The Capital Post)— Singapore Senior Minister Lee Hsien Loong recently concluded a meaningful visit to Terengganu, aimed at strengthening cooperation and enhancing bilateral ties between Singapore and the East Coast state.

According to posts shared on the official Facebook pages of Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar and Lee Hsien Loong, both leaders held constructive discussions focusing on tourism, environmental sustainability, and economic cooperation for the mutual benefit of both communities.

Dato’ Seri Dr. Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar expressed appreciation for the visit and described the discussions as meaningful and productive. He noted that Terengganu looks forward to strengthening its relationship with Singapore through future collaborations and strategic partnerships.

During the visit, Lee met with Terengganu state leaders and government-linked company representatives, where discussions also touched on ongoing efforts to drive economic growth and improve Singapore–Terengganu relations.

The Singapore leader also took time to visit Pantai Seberang Takir, sharing moments from his evening walk along the coastal area on social media. He thanked the people of Terengganu for their hospitality and warm reception, while expressing hope for deeper cooperation between both sides in the future.
