Scheduled to perform at 4pm on 23 May 2026, the showcase marks a significant milestone for the Sarawak-based five-member group as they continue expanding their presence and introducing their multicultural music identity to audiences across Malaysia.

Presented by K-Verse MY, THE NEXT consists of members Mikey, Bryx, Rizze, Elvis and Fiv, each bringing diverse cultural backgrounds and artistic strengths into the group’s identity.

Leading the group is Mikey, whose Kenyah and Iban heritage has helped shape the group’s East Malaysian identity. He previously gained international exposure after participating in the Korean survival programme “Universe League” and was also recognised in competitions including One In A Million Top 100, Bintang RTM and Biu Biu Superstar 2026, where he emerged as first runner-up.
