SELANGOR 3 July 2026, (The Capital Post) – UNIKOP has strengthened efforts to encourage blood donation awareness among its community through a blood donation campaign and health forum held in conjunction with UNIKOP Lifecare Awareness Day 2026.
The programme, held from 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m., received encouraging participation from students and staff, reflecting strong community support for health-related initiatives. The event also featured a forum titled “A Drop of Blood, A Million Hopes – Why Malaysia Needs More Blood Donors?”, delivered by Dr. Aisyah Idris, who shared insights on the importance of sustaining the national blood supply.
The initiative highlights ongoing efforts to cultivate a culture of voluntary blood donation and public health awareness within educational institutions. Organisers expressed appreciation for the positive response and encouraged continued participation in future health programmes.
