“Vote for B” – urged HR Minister

Kuala Lumpur, 2 August 2022 (The Capital Post)- Human Resources Minister Datuk Seri M. Saravanan hinted that the 15th general election (GE15) would be held in the coming months and urged civil servants to vote wisely.

“It (GE15) might not be too far away… maybe a month or two. When it is time, vote B for ‘Bijaksana’,” he said today at the ministry’s Outstanding Service Award Ceremony in Putrajaya, according to Sinar Harian.

He said history has shown that when “wrong decisions” are made when voting, civil servants become the victims.

The Malaysian Indian Congress (MIC) deputy president also said, “The best is to provide continuous political stability for our children,”.

During the press conference, he stated that MIC candidates would be chosen by party president Tan Sri S.A. Vigneswaran.

“We will continue to compete for nine parliamentary seats and 18 state seats as in previous elections, He stated that history has shown that when “wrong decisions” are made when voting, civil servants are the ones who suffer.

“The best thing is to ensure continuous political stability for our children,” said the MIC deputy president.

After the event, Saravanan told a press conference that MIC candidates would be chosen by party president Tan Sri S.A. Vigneswaran.

“We will continue to compete for nine parliamentary seats and 18 state seats as in previous elections,” he said, adding that it will be up to Barisan Nasional (BN) to decide whether seats will be reshuffled.
