KUALA LUMPUR 16 March 2026 (The Capital Post)- Ahmad Zahid Hamidi confirmed that he has received a request from Khairy Jamaluddin seeking to return to United Malays National Organisation (Umno).
Zahid, who serves as Umno president, said the matter will be reviewed according to the party’s procedures before any decision is made regarding the application.
Khairy, a former Umno leader and cabinet minister, had previously been expelled from the party during a disciplinary action that also involved several other members.
