PUTRAJAYA, 17 September 2026 (The Capital Post) – A total of 36 Federal Teaching Scholarship (BPP) recipients under the Education Ministry have departed for the United Kingdom and Jordan to pursue bachelor’s degrees.
Of the total, 14 students will study in the United Kingdom, comprising three at the University of Manchester, four at the University of York and seven at Cardiff University.
Another 22 students will continue their studies in Jordan, with 16 attending Al al-Bayt University and six enrolling at the University of Jordan.
Education Director-General YBhg. Datuk Dr. Mohd Azam Ahmad met the students before their departure and encouraged them to pursue their studies diligently, uphold Malaysia’s reputation and return to contribute to the development of the country’s education sector.

Overall, 135 students have been offered scholarships under the Education Sponsorship Division to pursue studies overseas in 2026.
According to a post on the official Facebook page of the Ministry of Education Malaysia, the 36 students are among this year’s scholarship recipients selected to further their education abroad. – The Capital Post
