Held since 2018, the NEA continues to play a strategic role in translating the country’s energy aspirations into action by recognising local organisations for leadership, innovation and excellence in sustainable energy practices.

This year’s awards also saw, for the first time, all Renewable Energy (RE) subcategories receive participation from industry players, signalling the growing maturity of Malaysia’s energy ecosystem and increasing private sector confidence in clean energy solutions.

According to a post on the official Facebook page of Kementerian Peralihan Tenaga dan Transformasi Air, K.PETRAMalaysia, the awards aim to inspire the industry to contribute towards positioning Malaysia as a regional green economy leader and advancing a more resilient and sustainable future. – The Capital Post
