KUALA KANGSAR, 19 June 2026 (The Capital Post) – The Ministry of Plantation and Commodities (KPK) has reinforced its commitment to education and human capital development through the handover ceremony for the MADANI Adopted School Programme (SAM) 2025 at Sekolah Kebangsaan Bendang Kering here.
According to a Facebook post by Kementerian Perladangan dan Komoditi – KPK, the ceremony was officiated by the ministry’s Deputy Secretary-General (Strategic Planning and Management), Shafie Taib, with the Malaysian Rubber Board (LGM) serving as the implementing agency.
The programme involved an allocation of RM100,000 to support various school infrastructure upgrades and student learning initiatives under the MADANI Adopted School Programme.
Among the improvements carried out were upgrades to the school assembly area, hall, reading corner and preschool classroom, alongside the provision of digital learning facilities such as smart boards, air coolers, educational signage and student chairs to create a more conducive learning environment.

The event also featured several side activities, including a student drawing competition prize presentation and a lucky draw aimed at fostering closer ties between the school community and the ministry.
KPK said the initiative reflects the government’s continued efforts to enhance educational opportunities and nurture future talent in line with the aspirations of Malaysia MADANI. – The Capital Post
