PUTRAJAYA, 25 June 2026 (The Capital Post) – Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim received a courtesy call from four Malaysian diplomatic representatives who are set to assume their duties abroad in representing the country’s interests on the international stage.
According to a post on his official Facebook page, Anwar emphasised the importance of training, exposure and capacity-building from the outset to ensure that diplomatic representatives are well-equipped to carry out their responsibilities effectively.
He said Malaysia’s envoys play a vital role in safeguarding national interests, strengthening bilateral relations and enhancing the country’s standing in the international arena.

The Prime Minister also expressed hope that the diplomats would carry out their responsibilities with integrity, professionalism and dedication in service of the nation and its people.
