AYER KEROH, Melaka, 26 July 2026 (The Capital Post) – The Ministry of Plantation and Commodities (KPK) reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening Malaysia’s palm oil industry during the 42nd Anniversary Dinner and Committee Installation Ceremony of the Southern Peninsular Palm Oil Millers Association (SPPOMA).
Deputy Secretary-General (Plantation and Commodities) of KPK, YBhg. Dato’ Razali Mohamad, represented Minister of Plantation and Commodities, YB Datuk Seri Dr. Noraini Ahmad, at the event held in Ayer Keroh, Melaka.
In a speech delivered on behalf of the minister, KPK expressed its appreciation to SPPOMA for its continued contribution to advancing the nation’s palm oil milling industry through innovation, sustainable practices and close collaboration with the government.
The ministry also reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening strategic partnerships with industry players in formulating inclusive policies, accelerating the adoption of technology, automation and low-carbon solutions to ensure Malaysia’s palm oil industry remains competitive, sustainable and a global leader.

KPK also congratulated the newly appointed SPPOMA Committee members for the 2026–2028 term and expressed hope that the close partnership between the government and industry would continue to drive the growth of the nation’s agri-commodities sector.
