PUTRAJAYA 3 August 2026, (The Capital Post) – The Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation) has officially welcomed Safida Zalma Mohd Piah following her appointment as the ministry’s Deputy Secretary-General (Science Planning and Science Culture), effective today.
The appointment was marked with a clock-in session attended by ministry personnel, who extended their congratulations and welcomed Datin Safida Zalma to her new leadership role within MOSTI.
The ministry expressed confidence that under her leadership, efforts to strengthen national science planning and cultivate a stronger science culture will continue to be enhanced through inclusive and sustainable initiatives, in line with Malaysia’s science, technology, and innovation aspirations.
