IGP, Economy Minister Discuss RMK13 Development Plans

PUTRAJAYA, 5 August 2026 (The Capital Post) – Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Tan Sri Mohd Khalid Ismail today met with Economy Minister Akmal Nasrullah Mohd Nasir to discuss the Royal Malaysia Police’s (PDRM) proposed projects under the Second Rolling Plan of the 13th Malaysia Plan (RMK13).

The meeting, held at the Ministry of Economy, focused on PDRM’s application for the implementation of strategic development projects covering infrastructure, assets, technology and organisational capacity enhancement.

The proposed initiatives are aimed at strengthening the police force’s operational readiness and improving the delivery of policing services.

Also present were Logistics and Technology Department Director CP Redzuan Abd. Hamid and Putrajaya District Police Chief ACP Aidi Sham Mohamed.
