KETEREH, 12 August 2026 (The Capital Post) – Home Minister YB Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution bin Ismail today visited the family of Allahyarham L/Kpl Mohamad Nur Hafiz bin Rahim, who died from an electric shock in Beaufort, Sabah last week.
The welfare visit to the victim’s family home in Ketereh, Kelantan was held to convey condolences and support while ensuring that the welfare of the deceased’s family receives due attention.
During the visit, contributions from the Sabah and Kelantan Police Contingents as well as death compensation from the Police Cooperative, as a member of which the deceased was registered, were presented to his widow.

Saifuddin also said that all other payments and benefits to which the family is entitled are being processed immediately to help ease the burden on the deceased’s wife, Fatimah Syairah binti ZahrulSaharudin, and their two-year-old son.
According to a post on the official Facebook page of Kementerian Dalam Negeri (KDN), kementeriandalamnegeri, the visit reflected the ministry’s commitment to ensuring the welfare of the deceased’s family receives appropriate attention. – The Capital Post
