PUTRAJAYA, 15 August 2026 (The Capital Post) – Agensi Kawalan dan Perlindungan Sempadan Malaysia (AKPS) today launched the Sempadan Merdeka, Berdaulat dan Berintegriti programme in conjunction with the National Month celebrations, aimed at strengthening the integrity, identity and patriotism of its personnel.
The programme was officially launched by AKPS Director-General YDH CP Dato’ Sri Mohd Shuhaily bin Mohd Zain at the Multipurpose Hall, Setia Perkasa 3, Ministry of Home Affairs (KDN).
The first series of the programme began with a talk titled “Sejarah Islam Nusantara” delivered by Ustaz Muhammad bin Abdullah Al Amin.

The programme is designed as a seasonal initiative to strengthen the identity, integrity and patriotic values of AKPS personnel, in line with the agency’s commitment to safeguarding the sovereignty and security of the country’s borders.
According to a post on the official Facebook page of Kementerian Dalam Negeri (KDN), the programme forms part of AKPS’ efforts to strengthen the values and commitment of its personnel in carrying out their responsibilities to protect Malaysia’s borders. – The Capital Post
