PUTRAJAYA, 27 September 2026 (The Capital Post) – The Ministry of Human Resources (KESUMA) marked Hari Cuci Malaysia 2026 with a ministry-wide cleanup programme aimed at promoting cleanliness, workplace safety and shared responsibility among its personnel.
The programme, held in conjunction with World Cleanup Day 2026, involved KESUMA personnel in gotong-royong and cleaning activities around the ministry’s premises.
KESUMA Deputy Secretary-General (Operations) Sutekno bin Ahmad Belon officiated the programme before the cleanup activities began.
The ministry’s participation also formed part of a broader effort coordinated by the Ministry of Housing and Local Government (KPKT) to support an attempt to set a new Malaysia Book of Records mark for the highest number of participants in a nationwide gotong-royong and cleanup programme.

KESUMA said the initiative reflects the commitment of its senior management and personnel to cultivating a culture of cleanliness, teamwork and shared responsibility while maintaining a clean, safe and comfortable working environment.
